Show TAX LEVY SET FOR 1948 AT 21 MILLS: SAME AS LAST YEAR At a special meeting of the Pleasant Grove City Council held Wednesday evening, the levies for the year 1948 were set at 21 mills which is the same as the levy for last year. The levies were divided as follows: foll-ows: Mills General Fund 5.0 Water Works Sinking Fund 1.0 Street and Sidewalks 5.0 Electric Lights 2.0 Library 1.0 Public Safety 5.0 Public Affairs and Finances i 2.0 Total 21.0 The assessed valuation of all property within Pleasant Grove City is $1,227,447.00, and providing that 100 per cent of the taxes are paid, the city would receive $25,767 with a 21 mill levy .This is an increase of $115,766 above the assessed as-sessed valuation for the year 1947. |
