Show Funeral Is Held For Mrs. Hettia Freeman Impressive funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p. m. for Mis. Hettia Freeman, 74, who died at her home Friday. The service was directed by the first ward bishop-ris, bishop-ris, with Bishop J. A. West in charge. The opening number was a vocal duet, "Some Time We'll Understand," by Mrs. Stella Hard-man Hard-man and Mrs. Viola Beers, accompanied accom-panied by Irwin Jensen. Invocation was offered by Harold Bullock, after which Mi's. Leo Green of Eureka read a tribute to Mrs. Freeman. Speakers who paid tribute to the life and works of the departed and offered words of faith and condolence condo-lence to the mourners were J. IL Adams, an old friend of the family; fam-ily; Wm. C. Smith, of the stake presidency, and Bishop Junius A. West. Interspersing musical numbers included an instrumental trio, "In the Garden," by Irwin Jensen and his daughter, Miss Lola Jensen and Miss Lyravine Jensen, and the clos-. clos-. ing duet by Mrs. Hardman and Mrs. Beers, accompanied by Mr. Jensen. Burial was in the Pleasnt Grove city cemetery. Hettia Winters Freeman was born in Hoytsville, Utah, June 11, 1868. On November 16, 1887, she mar-J. mar-J. J. Freeman in the Logan LDS temple, and moved with him to this city many years ago. Mrs. Freeman was an ardent church worker and was very active in Relief society work, having been a Belief society teacher for 20 years. Mr. Freeman diecja few years ago. She is survived by the following follow-ing sons and daughters: Leslie Freeman, Wilford Freeman, Milton Freeman, Justin Freeman, Reed Freeman, William Freeman, Mrs. Chloe West, Mrs. Ruby Neilson and Miss Helen Freeman, all of Pleasant Grove, -and Clarence Freeman Free-man of Los Angeles ;twcbrotJirTi, 11 " Civilian Winters and Clarence Winters Win-ters , of Hoytsville; three sisters, Mrs. Abbie Brown of Midvale, Mrs. Geo. Peterson of Wanship, Mrs. Sadie Symes of Cokeville, Wyo.; 20 grandchildren ,and nine greatgrandchildren. |
