Show Hypnotism Aids in Tosih Extraction BAKERSFIELD. CALIF. Hypnotism, Hyp-notism, long considered a good stage trick but also utilized in medicine and in curing mental ills during recent re-cent years, found a new use in dentistry den-tistry here. When Mrs. Violet Nicoia went to a medical-dental clinic to have two teeth extracted, it was discovered that she was allergic to all types of anesthetics. The dentist called two doctors and a psycho-therapist into consultation. The consulting psychotherapist psycho-therapist started talking to the patient pa-tient and within a few seconds she was in a hypnotic trance. Thirty minutes later Mrs. Nicola was brought out of the trance, mint:: her two teeth but completely unaware that they were gone.
