Show Party In Salt Lake For Mrs. Thorne An interesting party of the week, was, Ihat given in honor of Mrs. Nellie Brown Thorne, a native of Pleasant Grove on her 77th birthday birth-day anniversary. The affair sponsored by her children, her brother and sisters, was directed by J, D. Thorne, and was held at the Lion House in Salt Lake City on April 2G, and teat-uied teat-uied a progarn, refreshments and family get together. Invited guests included all members mem-bers of the Brown and Thorne families. fam-ilies. A biographical sketch of the life of the honor guest was given by her daughter Mrs. Amy Thorne Cooper of Magna. Talks were given giv-en by Dr. John Z. Erown, Elvin Thorne and others. A fine musical program was presented. An outstanding feature of the affair was the bringing together to-gether of so many members of the two families who have not met for many years.
