In the comments in last week's Pleasant Grove Review, concerning the various types of acts and entertaining en-tertaining features, we unintentionally unintent-ionally ommitted giving just dues to the fine service rendered by the Bands, and especially by Mr. Jensen and his Pleasant Grove High Schol Band. We all appre-iate appre-iate the fact that a band makes a successful parade or celebration more successful, and we appreciate their efforts, but only once in a long time do we think about telling the musicians that we thoroughly appreciate their efforts we ap. poligize to the bands for having slipped up this time. son Iiixon of Los Angeles arrived hero last week to visit their 'her and grandmother Mrs. Wm. Eugal. The pleasant affair was held at the Fugal home, where covers were laid for the honored couple, and Mr. and Mrs. John Richardson, Bruce Fugal, the two hostesses and their children. Mrs. Vilace Radmall entertained on Monday for her son David's sixth birthday anniversary. Games and refreshments were enjoyed by the folowing young friends: Jae Johnson, Ronald Clark, Diane and Jea Hillman, John, Jane, and Jean Liebaugh, Tommy Jense, Paul Anderson, Maureen and Lowell Merrill, Garrv Rackman. Janiel and Lois Fugal, Stephen Radmall. Miss patsy Anderson assisted in entertaining. The Modernotte club enjoyed a delightful party Monday evening with Mrs. Mildred Sutch as hostess. Hearts was played with Mrs. Leone Jense winning first and Mrs. Beth Fenton te consolation prize. Mrs. Louis Gunther received the guest prize. Later in the evening luncheon lunch-eon was served at small tables, attractively at-tractively decorated with small A-merican A-merican flags as favors. Club members present were Mrs. Mary Jacobs, Mrs. Virginia Chipman, Mrs. Verda Fenton, Mrs. Violet Beers, Mrs. Alta Noble,, Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Sumsion, Mrs. June Chor-neak, Chor-neak, Mrs. Maxine West, Mrs. Leone Jense, Mrs. Ruth Cobbley, Mrs. Beth Fenton, Mrs. Lewes Gunther and Mrs. Jean Allredge were special guests. Vilace Radmall was the honor guest at i party given by the Presidents of the 44lh Quorum of Seventy at the home of Mir. and Mrs. Duane Harper Thursday evening. eve-ning. A delightful evening of games, followed by tasty refreshments was spent, and Mr. Radmall presented with a fine leather brief case. The pleasant affair was given in appreciation of Mr. Kadmall's work as Senior President of the Seven President, prior to his appointment to the stake presidency. Presidents and their wives present pre-sent were: Mr. ami Mrs. Radmall, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Harper, Mr. and Mrs. Warniek Swenson, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hilton, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Adtwnson. Green I entertained their family at supper in the Provo Recreation Park in Provo Canyon on Monday, in compliment com-pliment to their son Samue l who is visiting here from Tulane University, Uni-versity, La., where he is receiving I officers training in the U. S. Navy. Present besides Samuel and his ' parents were Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Ferguson and children Colloon ' and Jerry of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. ! K. Holly Myers, and son Kenneth, and Misses Mray, Mvrtle and Kathleen Green. On Wednesday evening the same merry family group motored to Mutual Dell in American Fork Canyon, where base ball was enjoyed followed by supper. At a well arranged installation ceremony, held at the summer home of Dr. and Mrs. G. Y. Anderson Ander-son in Provo canyon, S. W. Hilton was inducted as President of the Pleasant Grove Lions Club; S. A. Kirk installed as vice-president; II. E. Bradley, secretary; Board members, are Junius A. West, K. Warniek Swensen, Fred Sumsion, A. B. Gthso.n The installation ceremony was conducted by Rulon I Brimhall, who now becomes past president of the club. The club voted unanimously to -xtend Rulon Brimhall a vote of thanks and appreciation for the fine work he has done during the past year in obtaining a number of members and handlig the affairs of Jlio el'ab in a fine manner. A vote of thanks was also given to Mrs. Brimhall and the wives of the officers of-ficers for the he lp they have given (luring the year.
