Show E.ocal And Social News Mrs. Lucilc Hillman and her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Edna Church of Eurley, Idaho, left Wednesday for Riverside, River-side, California, where on Thursday Thurs-day they attended the funeral of their brother in law, Allen Blake, who died following an automobile i accident. Mr. Blake was the husband hus-band of Mary Boulson Blake. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Tonilinson, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Wrcnard Tomlir.son returned re-turned Friday from a very enjoyable enjoy-able trip. Leaving here on Dec. 30 they first visited California and attended the Rose Parade at Pasadena Pasa-dena tjien went on to Long Beach and San Diego, through Mexico in- to Arizona, vh?re they enjoyed a session at the Mesa LDS Temp'e. Back hy wtiy of Nevada, they Stayed Stay-ed in St George and attended a session at the Temple there, before returning home. While in Phoenix they visited with Mr. and Mrs. King, former residents of Lindon. . . j Miss Deanna Wadley was a proud hostess Saturday afternoon when her mother, Mrs. Merlyn Wadley entertained a group of young friends in compliment to her 8th birthday anniversary. Games and lunch were enjoyed. Little friends who came to say Happy Birthday were Nancy Walker, Wal-ker, Charlene Zufelt, Joye Warbur-ton, Warbur-ton, Stanley West, Marvin Peay, David West, Patsy Morgan, Lloyd Atkinson, Karen Belliston, Lee Jeppson, James Adamson, Jeanelle Slaton, Jeanne Hillman, Terry Hol-man, Hol-man, Carol Pulley, Jenine Hunt and Kathleen Atkinson. |
