Show Cooperation Is Appreciated By The C. of C TO THE PEOPLE OF PLEASANT GROVE AND VICINITY: The officers of the Chamber of Commerce, thank you, sincerely, for the fine response that you gave us, in our drive to raise funds for the Resuscitator, that we have now purchased and presented to the Pleasant Grove City officials for your use. We are indeed thankful to the people of Lindon and Manila for their fine cooperation, in contributing contribu-ting to the cause. Every family in Manila contributed and the funds came from the town board in Lindon, Lin-don, which is also a one hundred per cent participation. To the people who spent their time and money, in organizing and making the canvass of the town for these funds, to those people we are indeed grateful. You should be proud for you are one of the first in the State of Utah to purchase one of these machines, which is the most modern mod-ern that, can be obtained. You are oneo f the first to take steps in this field, in aiding in the saving of lives. Should this machine be needed, we want you to call immdiately for it and put it to use. We hope that such an emergency never arises, but the machine was purchased for just such emergencies and it is to be used for the saving of life.
