Show FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED SATURDAY FOR HELEN CARSON Relative's and friends gatfhered Saturday afternoon at the Second Ward LBS chapel to pay respects to the memory of Mrs, Helen H. Carson, who died Tuseday June 19, at the American Fork hospital. Directed by Bishop C. R. Clark, the impressive ; Service began at . 3 o'clock - with Mrs Mae R. Walker and Elwood Allen singing, "Jesus Lover of My Soul." They were accompanied ac-companied by Miss Jennie Gleason. Invocation was offered by Calvin Swenson. A sketch of the life of Mrs. Car-con Car-con and her pioneer ancestors was given by Mrs. Luicle H. Walker. Speakers were President Ray S. Merrill, a close neighbor and B. H. Adams, former Bishop of the 2nd ward. . Both spoke .highly of Mrs. Caron, her frank independent character char-acter and her devotion to her family fam-ily and friends. Othej music included a second duet by Mrs. Walker and Mr. Allen, All-en, "In he Garden" A" string trio, "Angels Serenade" played by Mrs. Calvin Jacob, Mrs. Warren P- Kirk, and Miss Jennie Gleason, and the doing numbre The Lord's Prayer, sung by Reva WestJ accompanied by Miss Gleason. ', Closing remarks of appreciation were made by Bishop Clark. Benediction was pronounced by Earl A. Peck of the Bishopric. Prelude and portlude music was played by the- string trio. Interment directed by Olpin Bros, was made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery where Bishop Lewis Olpin offered . the dedicatory prayer. pray-er.
