Show Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Atwood left Tuesday morning for Malad, Idaho, where they will visit the former's brother, John Atwood, and family. Before returning they will tour Yellowstone park. Carol Smith spent Wednesday and Thursday of this week vacationing vaca-tioning at Aspen Grove as a guest of her uncle and aunt, Professor and Mrs. Carl Eyring. Mrs. S. W. Hilton, and sons, Eugene, Eu-gene, Robert and Floyd, motored to Fish Lake Thursday, where they visited vis-ited with Francis Hilton, who is employed there. They went on to Bicknell where they were guests of Mrs. Hilton's sister, Mrs. W. D. Brinkerhoff until their return on Saturday night. Owen Ash is having difficulty maintaining the dignity that befits a new father; in fact he Isn't fooling fool-ing anyone. Even the tourists that stop to get their tanks filled must know that Donna gave birth to a boy Sunday morning at the American Amer-ican Fork hospital. Mr. and Mrs. J., P. Fugal had an Interesting visit Monday with James and Ralph Winterton, twin brothers from Provo, who recently returned from a mission in the Eastern states. They reported having en-Joyed en-Joyed such a pleasant reunion with former B. Y. U. students at the mission mis-sion conference held recently iat Palmyra, New York. Among, the group was Anna Fugal, whom they reported is very happy in her work, and shows abounding zeal and enthusiasm. en-thusiasm. Guests of Mrs. George Richards Thursday of last week were her sisters, Mrs. Clara Morgan, and Mrs. Ruby Terry of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Martha Strong of Alpine, and Miss Betty Albean of Denver, Col-, Col-, orado. Old residents will remember Miss Albean as the daughter of Melville Albean, a former resident) of Pleasant Grove, who went through the World War without a scratch, only to lose his life while firing off a cannon in a July 4 celebration years later. His widow and daughter, daugh-ter, Betty, both live in Denver.
