Sergeant and Mrs. Gordon L. Wright, Mrs. Oral Wright, Norman Nor-man and Beverly Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Richards, Floise, Rosalie and David Richards, Rich-ards, enjoyed dinner in American Fork canyon Sunday afternoon. Private Jean Atkinson arrived home Friday from Camp Roberts, to spend a week's furlough here, lb; was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Fdna W. Atkinson, who has spent three weeks with him at the California camp. On leaving here Private Atkinson wjl report to Camp Ord, California. Calvin Fenton, son of Mr. and Mrs. The. Fenton, has recently finished his work in Sound School and radio engineering, and is now rated a S. O. M. 3C. Calvin is stationed at San Diego, Calif. Herald Bazzant, R. T. l.'C, arrived ar-rived home this week from the Alutian Islands, to visit with his parents Air. and Airs. Bert Bez-zant. Bez-zant. On leaving here he will report at a camp in New Jersey, where he will receive further as-signmnets. as-signmnets. Clr.foru L'i. Scaiv,..n 2'J, arrived here this week from Far-ragut, Far-ragut, Idaho, to spend ten days with his wife Dorothea Yancey-Dixon, Yancey-Dixon, and two small sons Clifford Clif-ford Jr. and Tommy. Corporal Ray Walker of the U. S. Mounted Police stationed at Seattle, Washington, is visiting with his wife and new daughter at Lehi, and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Walker of Pleasant Gr()ve. Another son of Mrs. and Mrs. Walker, Reed, who is in the martime service, returned return-ed Monday to San Francisco, after af-ter a brief visit here. Private Norman R. Winters left Tuesday afternoon for Camp Shelby, Mississippi, after enjoying enjoy-ing the past eleven days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Winters Win-ters and family and friends. Private Pri-vate Winters has been stationed at Camp Roberts, California for the past six months, from where he graduated from his basic training March 18th. He will a-wait a-wait further assignment at Camp Shelby. j Private Sherman V. Hansen has returned to his station t at Letterman's General "Hospital at San Francisco,. He has heen home on a two week's furlough visiting visit-ing with his mother, sisters and friends. He is the son of Mrs. Emma Hansen of Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Hansen has another son serving ser-ving in the U. S. Army. Private Lawrence H. Hansen is stationed at Camp Wolters, Texas, in the infantry. Glen Jorgensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jorgensen arrived home Tuesday for a short leave. Glen has been attending a U. S. Navy Hos-nital Hos-nital Coro. School at Farragut, Idaho, and has been awarded a cer-tificatea cer-tificatea of graduation and is now a Hospital Apprentice 2C. He has been assigned at Shoemaker, Calif- |
