Show "Welcome" Dance For Soldiers To Be Held Saturday Night Everybody Invited To Participate In Party At High School Gym The entire community of Pleasant Grove will have an opportunity Saturday Sat-urday evening to do honor to the soldiers stationed at the C C C camp just north of the city when a "Welcome" "Wel-come" dance will be held at the high school gymnasium, with Ertman Christensen as general chairman. It is urged that everybody turn out to the dance and show their respect to these young men who are serving in the forces of Uncle Sam. Perhaps your son or near relative rel-ative is serving in the army and possibly someone near his camp has invited him to a dance Saturday night so the committee ugres you to participate in the bid welcome party. The soldiers will come in as a group and after the dance is over they will return to camp. It is the desire of the committee commit-tee that all girls of Pleasant Grove of senior high school age or older be present and assist in entertaining entertain-ing the boys. Girls are invited to come with their parents or come in groups with a chaperon. The reception committee, composed com-posed of the mayor and his wife, chamber of commerce members and their wives, Associated Civic club members and their wives, and social clubs will be on hand and introduce the boys and see that they have a good time. The big welcome party is being sponsored by the chamber of commerce, com-merce, the Pleasant Grove City, the beautiflcation committee and other sivic and social clubs, with Ertman Christensen as general chairman. |
