Show Paul Allen Dies At Salt Lake Paul Allen, 41, of Duchesne and for a number of years employed n the Briggs Pharmacy of this city, died in a Salt Lake hospital last week. Funeral services . were held Thursday, August 2, in the Colonial room of the Masonic temple, Salt Lake, the rites being under the direction di-rection of the Masonic lodge. Following Fol-lowing these services the American Legion took charge and military ceremonies were conducted at the graveside in the city cemetery Salt Lake. During the services the casket was draped with a large silk American Flag which was later presented pre-sented to Mrs. Allen by the Legion. There was a profusion of flowers from various parts of the state in which Mi-. Allen had been employed. He was paid high tribute by the Legion for his services during the World War. Mr. Allen was mayor of Duchesne at the time of his demise. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Barbara Jean. |
