o Lake Level Drops Below Last Year Utah Lake contains 350,000 acre feet of water at present, compared with 410,000 at the same time last year, State Engineer T. H. Hum-pherys Hum-pherys reported Thursday. Despite the decline, however, the supply is adequate to fill the needs of the Salt Lake county farmers, which depend on the lake for their principal supply and considerable irrigation ir-rigation water will be held over for next year, it was reported. Although there was a good holdover hold-over this year, the spring run off was less than last year and there has been a heavier irrigation use and greater loss through evaporation.
