Show Throngs Expected At Greater Provo Bench Annual Fair Sept. 2 i cash gifts in denominations from $50.00 to $5.00 will be awarded the holders of lucky tickets- First prize will be $50-00, 2nd, $25.00, and 15 $5.00 prizes. Numerous Carnival attractions will be on hand throughout the day. Carnival An Athletic Carnival from 7.00 to 9:00 p. m. promoted by Henry Jones and Don Dixon will be a real attraction. at-traction. Henry will tackle Floyd Hansen, Salt Lake City toughy, in a headliner wrestling bout. Dean Park, Orem grappler, will be matched with Turp Taylor of Salt Lake City. A full card of good boxing preliminaries prelim-inaries has been slated also. Barbecue Dinners Lunch can be had n package form and will include delicious barbecued sandwiches, dessert, fruit, etc. A huge Lunch Bowery is being built in the Midway for the accommodation of the people- A picture show, "Lttle Colonel," with Shirley Temple ! and a fine vaudeville will run continuously con-tinuously all day and evening. The Carnival will officially close with a huge dance at Geneva, with Tab and Bun's orchestra furnishing the music. The dance will run 'till 1:00 a. m- and the cash gifts will be distributed from the orchestra stand ' at 12:30. i |
