Charles Buhler left Saturday for Portland, Oregon, to visit with his son and daughter who reside there. Morel Gillman left Sunday for Los Angeles where he expects to be employed. j Dr. and Mrs. G. Y. Anderson spent the week-end in Idaho visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Brinley of Ephraim, spent the week-end with Pleasant Grove relatives. Mrs. Kate M. Hayes of Boise, Idaho, is visiting with friends and relatives in Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Helen Gamett Smith is visiting visit-ing at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gamett. Mrs. Mary R. Halliday is visiting this week in Provo with her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. I Lucius Laudie. Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Johnson of Pleasant Grove announce the engagement en-gagement of their daughter, Reva, to John K. Loosli, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Loosli of Logan. Mrs. Elizabeth Shurtleff Smith of Ogden, visited last week with her sister, Mrs. Helen Carson. Bernadetti Conway spent Sunday with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr., and Mrs. Dale Larson, of Provo. Joseph Dickenson, who is employed employ-ed at Nephi, spent the week-end with his family here. Jacob Nelson left Monday for Mercur, where he expects to take up a mining lease. Ella Halliday Jackson returned to her home in Cedar City Monday after af-ter a two week's visit with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Halliday. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Linebaugh and daughter, Electa, returned home Friday from the Livestock Show at San Francisco California. Mrs. Clarence Hilton entertained neighbors and relatives at a quilting party Friday. Gray Weeks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Weeks of Burley, Idaho, spent the week-end with his grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Mary Weeks and other relatives here. Clark won the first prize and Mrs. Pearl Wadley the consolation prize. Mr. and .Mrs. M. D. Radmall entertained en-tertained at dinner Sunday. The guests included, apostle and Mrs. Charles A. Mrs. Bullock, Vern and Lloyd Cullimore Culli-more and Mr. Radmall were missionaries mis-sionaries when Brother Callis was president of the Southern States mission. This dinner was a real reunion re-union for all of the party. Mrs. Rose B. Hayes returned Tuesday Tues-day from a three week's visit with her sisters, Mrs. Amy Brown Lyman, and Mrs. Lydia B. Lund, and ner sons, Junius and Claude Hayes, and families at Salt Lake City. Vern Cullimore, manager of the local Dixon-Taylor-Russell store, attended' at-tended' a Westinghouse refrigerator convention at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City Monday evening. Mrs. Robert Walker and daughter, Maxine, and Mr. and Mrs. George Richards attended the funeral of Edwin Stewart, a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Richards at Provo, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. William Adams and family and DeLos Adams of Garland; Gar-land; J. H. Robertson and daughter, Macal, and Martin Lund of Fountain Foun-tain Green, and Mr. and Mrs. Reese Bradley of Moroni, were visitors of Mrs. Melissa Adams and other relatives rela-tives here last week-end. Mrs. Lloyd Gray entertained 'at a childrens party Tuesday evening in honor of her daughter, Lucille's 12th birthday anniversary.
