Therefore I am highly In favor of seeing the residents of this city form a metropolitan water district, secure more water and take advantage of the labor and development that will come from the Deer Creek project. It is my request that the qualified voters of this community on Saturday Satur-day show whether or not they favor the project. Not only do we need more water in our city, but is will also be the means of distributing a considerable amount of money to people throughout through-out the cities in the north end of Utah county, from labor on the dam and canals. Jorgenson r Councilman Points to Need For Deer Creek Being a resident' of American Fork for a number of years, I see the necessity of more late water whereby young people growing up may be induced to remain in this locality and make their livelihood here and also provide for future industries in-dustries which may locate here As I understand it, American-Fork will no7be able to put its men to work on this project unless they become interested in and subscribe for some of this water. We have much valuable valu-able land lying north and eas o the city which, if water were put on t would produce a living for many people.
