Show Warnick Named to Fill Vacancy On Timp Cave Board W. W. WARNICK REPLACES C. L. WARNICK ON COMMITTEE Wilford W. Warnick, president of Timpnnogos L. D. S. stoke, has been named to fill Uie vacancy on the Timpanogos Outdoor Committee, officials announced Thursday following fol-lowing Mr. War-nick's acceptance of the position. The committee has charge of administration ad-ministration of Timpanogos Cave national monument, under the supervision su-pervision of the national parks service. ser-vice. Other members of the board are Stephen L. Chipman, president; Leo G- Meredith, secretary and treasurer; John L. Firmage, Clifford E. Young; P. P. Patraw, superintendent superin-tendent of Zion's and Bryce canyons can-yons national parks; and Thomas A. Walker, national 'parks ranger at the national monument in American Fork canyon. The vacancy was created when C. L. Warnick, a backer of the national nation-al monument since its being set aside, moved to another state. C-L. C-L. Warnick worked enthusiastically when the cave was discovered, to have it preserved by the government, govern-ment, and he was one of the original orig-inal members of the Timpanogos Outdoor committee. He has b?en instrumental in bringing about the many improvements at the cave, having served on the committee continuously. |
