Show MARCH OF DIMES TO AID IN BATTLE TO STAMP OUT DISEASE Preparations are going forward for a big celebration here January 30, when the annual President's Birthday ball will be held, Clarence A. Grant, general chairman, said Tuesday. The committee met this week to arrange details of the observance here. Tire drive for funds to fight infantile, paralysis will be pushed on three fronts the birthday ball, sale of anti-paralysis buttons, and the "March of Dimes." "We wish to stress the 'March of , Dimes' in particular," Mr. Grant i said. "By this means a card in which dimes are inserted and mailed directly to the White House every resident may extend greetings to the President and at the same time help in the nationwide campaign." cam-paign." In addition, dime banks have been placed in various business houses. Persons wishing to contribute con-tribute to the cause may drop their dimes into the banks. The Birthday ball will climax the campaign here. It will be held January 30, in the Apollo hall.
