Show School District Population Holds Near S Same Level, Despite Territory Losses Despite a loss of approximately 50 id" students to the Provo City school district through recent annexations, the Alpine district school-age pop-v pop-v ulation is maintained at virtually same figure as last year, it is revealed by the annual school census just completed. 'i The district's school population is two less than last year, it is shown ;J1 by the census figures released at . the school board office here. There '0 are 5384 persons of school age, over Sis years and under eighteen, in Me district, the census shows. H American Fork and Pleasant Grove precincts have shown notable increases during the past year, while k the Lincoln section has a large de-crease de-crease due to the annexations by 01! Provo City. Lehi precinct held at approximately the same level, ! imerican Fork precinct had 44 more students than the preceding year, )B pleasant Grove 28 more, and Lehi me less. Lincoln, however, had 73 !ss students, approximately 50 of "-Orhom were transferred to the Provo Tity schools.
