Show 200 Boys, Girls 1 Hold 4-H Party Two hundred boys and girls doing 4-H club work and their leaders, from north Utah county, held their annual bonfire program Thursday evening in American Fork canyon. Gathering at 5 p. m., the group played games until 7 p. m., when a picnic was enjoyed. A bonfire program, pro-gram, climaxed by the candle lighting light-ing ceremony, followed. Mrs. Mabel Jense of Pleasant Grove is general chairman; Mrs. Inez McDonald, program chairman; and Merrill Warnick of Manila, bonfire bon-fire chairman. The annual Utah county 4-H club outing will be held August 10 at Park-Ro-She. The program, as announced an-nounced here, will consist of games from 10 a. m. to 11 a. m.; swimming for younger groups and games for the older boys and girls, from 11 to 12; swimming for the older boys and girls and games for the younger, from 12 to 1, and lunch at 1 p. m. The American Fork 4-H club team has challenged the Palmyra team for a game, which will be an afternoon feature. A candy shower also is planned, and special events will feature fea-ture the swimming periods. |
