Show C. C. News Captain J. Hobart Miller and Superintendent Su-perintendent Hyde made a recon-naisance recon-naisance trip to Soapstone last Thursday. There about eight inches of new snow had recently fallen. However, conditions were generally favorable for reoccupancy of the camp- It is expected that as soon as the work now in progress from the Pleasant Grove C C C camp base is completed, and the work at Skull Valley is done,' the camp wall move to Soapstone. Foreman J. M. Macfarlane Jr. and Forest Clerk Cannon attended the Timpanogos Builders' club luncheon Monday night of this week, held in the Third ward amusement hall. Supervisor James E. Gurr visited the Pleasant Grove C C C Camp F-43 last week. While here he conferred with Superintendent Hyde and Captain Miller regarding movement move-ment of this camp to Soapstone. Junior assistant to - technician Don Allred moved a crew of 11 men to the Skull Valley spike camp last Friday. The work there consists of the installation of a water system. This crew will complete this project proj-ect prior to the main camp's moving mov-ing from Pleasant Grove to Soap-stone, Soap-stone, for the summer. |
