Show 1 Windsor D.U. P. Honors Member With Testimonial Windsor camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers met at the home of Ethel C. Lowe, Thursday afternoon, November 9. Captain Mary B. Hales was in charge. The meeting was held in the form of a testimonial in honor of Ella M. Cragun, who is moving to Spring-ville Spring-ville in the near future. A beautiful tray made by Christabel Grant was presented to her by the camp, as a token of love and appreciation. The opening song, "Come, Come Ye Saints," was sung by the entire group, and Chaplain Minnie Ditt-more Ditt-more offered the opening prayer. Following roll call and reading of the minutes, the lesson on "Scandinavia's "Scandi-navia's Contribution to the Settlement Settle-ment of Utah," was given by the class leader, Ella M. Cragun. A duet number was sung by Bessie Cochran Coch-ran and Helen Gordon, a reading was given by Dorothy Johnson, and a solo was sung by Mary G. Jar-man. Jar-man. The benediction was offered by Christabel Grant. j Following the meeting, refreshments refresh-ments were served and a social hour enjoyed. |
