Show Dinner guests on Christmas day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Beck were: Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Wilde and baby son, Richard, of this city; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kedding and son 'of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kelly and family of Provo. Complimentary to Mrs. Elmo Bush, nee Miss Guelda Elsmore, a number of her close girl chums entertained at a miscellaneous, shower Thursday evening at the William Elsmore ' home. The entertaining rooms were prettily decorated with Christmas colors and Yuletide symbols. In keeping with the season, holiday games were played. Late in the evening, a delicious lunch was served serv-ed to twenty-five guests. The young bride was presented with pany beautiful beau-tiful and practical gifts. The Junior Girls of "the Second Ward Mutual association held a Christmas party Saturday evening at the home of their instructor, Miss Cleo Bate. Red and Green, the season's colors .were used in decorat-in- the entertaining rooms, and a-Christmas a-Christmas tree and other Yuletide suggestions completed the rartys setting. Gifts were exchanged by the ttirls. and contest games played. Prizes were won by Miss Betha Clarke ond Mis Genieve Anderson. Lunch ;as served to fourteen. The other class teachers, Miss Helen Clarke and Miss Sadie Nelson, assisted in entertaining. |
