The growth oT the Plca.sant Grove Canning Company from one small factory in 1315 packing less than ten cars of canned foocs to three large factories packing more than 275 cars, is due in a Large measure to the fine support of the people of these communities. com-munities. The past fex years and particularly particular-ly the past two have been full of trials and hardships due to prices below the cost of production. We do however, look forward with renewed hope of the future. In 1938 the Pleasant Grove Canning Can-ning Company purchased from growers of Utah County nearly .$300,000.00 worth of cherries, beans, strawberries, peas, tomatoes, and pumpkin. The growers have all been paid 100 per cent. The payrolls of the three factories during our operating season from June until December amounted to approximately $20,000.00 per month. Your continued support and cooperation coop-eration is vital to the success of this Company.
