Show Mr. and Mrs. Merland Grant of Garfield visitedl with relatives in American Fork this week. OUTSTANDING SOCIAL One of the outstanding social events of this season was the tenth annual Christmas party held by the Nautilus social unit of the Brigham Young university. The party was held in Firmage hall iast week, with over 100 couples attending- Miss Leona Binns is president of the club and was chairman; of this year's party. The entrance hall featured a beautiful beau-tiful Christmas tree with blue lights and ornaments. The dance hall was a scene of extraordinary beauty, being be-ing an array of blue and silver- Silver Sil-ver metalic reindeers were mounted on the maroon curtains at the windows win-dows and on the stage curtains, while mounted on a mound of snow, a large deer occupied the center of the floor. Directly over the deer, some 200 blue and silver balloons were Illuminated by a spot light and swayed in rhythm with the dancers. The refreshment table was covered with a celephane cover with the blue tapers- This attractive social was attended attend-ed by Miss Binns and partner, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Meredith, Miss Helen Devey, Sherman Wing, Helen Young and partner, and Clifford Young and partner, of this city- o Card of Thanks We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who assisted in any way in our recent bereavement in the loss of our husband and father, John Snider.
