Show Pleasant Grove Locals Mrs. Ida Peterson is on a tour of Idaho. She expects to be away about two weeks. Mrs. J. M. Macfarlane Sr. of Salt Lake City is visiting this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Macfarlane Mac-farlane Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Solomon of Salt Lake City were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Macfarlane Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ronnow and three children, of Panaca, Nevada, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Banks Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Sorenson of Firth, Idaho, visited Mr. and Mrs. Duane Harper and family Wednesday. Wednes-day. Mrs. Sorenson is a sister of Mr. Harper. Mr. and Mrs. Irving D. West and Marion and Jean West, of South Gate, California, are here for a two weeks' visit with Mr. and Mrs. Lyean Johnson. The Johnsons and Wests recently returned from a trip to Yellowstone national park. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Cummings of Heber City were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Adamson Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Gamette of Corvallis, Oregon, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gamette of Pleasant Grove. They expect to make a two weeks' stay. The Peay family reunion was held Thursday afternoon at the Arrowhead Arrow-head resort. Members of the family from Pleasant Grove attended. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Furden announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby boy, at the L. D. S. hospital, August 2. Mrs. Furden is the former Miss Af ton Nelson. Mrs. Ben Adams is visiting with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson, in Ogden. During her stay, the Peterson's have taken Mrs. Adams to Logan and points of interest around Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Wanlass and three children, of Rodeo, California, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shoell and other relatives and friends in Pleasant Grove and Lehi. They expect to leave Saturday, after a ten days' visit. Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Peay and little daughter, Carolyn, of Susan-ville, Susan-ville, California, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Peay over the week-end. They participated in the American Fork Poultry-Turkey day, and left for home Wednesday morning. Mrs. Joseph Howarth and daughter, daught-er, Jean, of Salt Lake City are spending the week at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Junius West. Mr. and Mrs. J. Sanford Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hilton visited Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Adam-son Adam-son at their sheep camp, in Strawberry Straw-berry valley, Sunday. Miss Sonoma Robins of Scipio was a visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Sanford Walker Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick announce the birth of a daughter, Friday morning. Mother and baby are doing nicely. |
