Show 1 1 Wayne Chadwick, representative I for the Farmers' Inter-Insurance Exchange, left Monday for a two weeks' trip to the Pacific Coast, in company with other salesmen from Utah. He will attend the annual convention of his company, this week-end, and remain several days in California to visit points of interest, in-terest, returning by way of San Francisco. ' A birthday party honoring Mrs. ;j Melissa Robinson was held Wednes-1 Wednes-1 ' day night of last week at the Robin-j Robin-j j son home. The evening was spent j in playing bridge, ana a "pot luck" luncheon was served. Attending were Mrs. Leon Parduhn, Mrs. David Warnick, Mrs. Kenneth Christensen, I Mrs. Marl Steele, Mrs. Milton Adams and Miss Beth Hutching. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J. Bird were hosts at a delightful supper and bridge party Saturday evening. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd B. Adamson, Mr. and Mrs. Glen L. Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holmstead Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Walton, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Larsen of Lehi, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Barratt, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Chipman, Mr. and Mrs. A. Frank Gaisford, Dr. and Mrs. J. E. Harrison of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Allen. Men's high score prize was awarded to Mr. Larsen, and the ladies', to Mrs. Taylor. An interesting demonstration of the use of small electrical appliances featured a meeting of the Junior Literary league Monday night. The party was held at the Utah Power &' Light company salesroom, where Miss Evelyn Hansen, home demon-; demon-; strator from. Provo, assisted by Miss Vee Osborne, demonstrated the use of the appliances. A delicious lunch, including sandwiches toasted at the party,- was served. Hostesses were Mrs. Adair Bromley and Miss Mildred Mil-dred Chipman. f |
