Show Junior Literary Celebrates Fifth Anniversary Here Celebrating the fifth anniversary of the organization, anu honoring former presidents, the Junior Literary Liter-ary League held a Past Presidents' party Saturday night at ihe Bromley Brom-ley clubrooms. Features of the evening eve-ning were a luncheon and program, and games. Special guests were Mrs. Lena Pearson of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Lillian Booth of Provo. During the evening a big birthday cake was cut by Mrs. Lena Pearson, the first president of the organization. organiza-tion. After the buffet lunch the following fol-lowing program was presented: Paper, written by Mrs. O. DeVere Wootton and read by Mrs. Elden Chipman, two selections by the club trio, Betha Storrs, Doris Robinson and Mildred Chipman, accompanied by Howard Paxman, "Deep Purple" and " Heaven Can Wait"; toast to the presidents, Mrs. Myrl Stewart; presentation of roses to presidents and vice presidents, and wild rose bontormiers to rlnh mpmhprs- nlsn "To a Wild Rose", by Mildred Chip-man; Chip-man; stunt, Mrs. Norman Wing and Mrs. Sherman Robinson. Games followed, fol-lowed, prizes being won by Mrs. Lillian Lil-lian C. Booth, Mrs. Leo Nelson and Mrs. Elden Chipman. Hostesses were Miss Beth Storrs, Mrs. Pearl Cunningham, Mnj. LaRee Van Wagoner, Mrs. Detta Buckwal-ter, Buckwal-ter, Mrs. O. DeVere Wootton, and Mrs. Helen Ramsay. Twenty-three members and the two guests were in attendance. o |
