Show Ogden Livestock Show Scheduled January 5 to 11 Several program changes designed design-ed to interest farmers and livestock men in the intermountain country have been arranged by the Ogden livestock show, to be held January 5 to 11. Cash prizes totaling more than $18,000 are being offered to exhibitors exhib-itors of cattle, sheep and swine, along with additional money awards to winners in the agricultural and poulttry divisions. Purses in all major divisions of the show have been increased over amounts given in winnings last year. A procedure entirely new to livestock live-stock show circuits in the United States will be introduced to benefit Future Farmers chapter and Four-H Four-H club members. All fat steers, swine and sheep entered in the junior jun-ior department will be classified according ac-cording to market grades, thus eliminating eli-minating championship class titles and affording more student exhibitors exhibi-tors to work their way to the high-1 est winnings. I The dairy cattle division, omitted at the 1939 show in order that animals ani-mals of the national dairy show circuit cir-cuit could be shown in Ogden for three days, will be reinstated.
