Sperry of the department de-partment of religious education of Brigham Young university at Provo will be the speaker at the twentieth annual Sunset Service of the Manila Ma-nila L. D. It is related that he conceived the idea one day while driving to Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, being impressed with the beautiful view from the brow of the hill and the approriateness of hold-. hold-. ing an outdoor meeting. The first rally was held on the occasion of Mr. Warnick's assuming i the presidency of the young men's M. I. A., and the retirement of L. M. Atwood from that position. Mr. Atwood took charge of the first ral-ly ral-ly program. i Since the first rally, the idea has I been taken up all over the L. D. S. church, and the Manila ward has become widely known because of it. During the past twenty years, out- ( standing church leaders have been the guest speakers at the inspirational inspira-tional meetings. The meeting will be held just at sunset, at the church grounds.
