Show Leigh Ingersoll has purchased the Joseph Ingersoll home in the Third ward and will make his home there. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bate moved into part of the Bert Timpson home Monday, Mr. and Mrs. William Householder moved into the Booth home where Mr. and Mrs. Bate lived. S. hospital recovering from an operation, opera-tion, v, Knroute to Troy, New York, about the first of November, Miss Erma Huggard will visit with her mother, Mrs. Mattie Huggard, and will be pleased to see her many friends of this city. Harrington and Mrs. Paul Woodcox and family of Salt Lake City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. W. A. Robinson. Word was received Tuesday of the sudden death of George W. Thatcher, Thatch-er, 51, of Provo. Mr. Thatcher is the father of Mrs. Lucille Ellison of American Fork. Mrs. Warren Boley, Mrs. Roy Steele, Mrs. Thomas Coddington, Mrs. M. H. Ingersoll, Mrs. A. F. Gaisford, Jr., Mrs. Emma Anderson and Miss Sarah Parker attended the convention and banquet of the State Lady Woolgrowers organization Saturday at the Ladies Literary Club house in Salt Lake City. "The Celebrity" is the name of the play chosen by the Stake Mutual Improvement Im-provement Association for their annual ann-ual drama presentation. The play is being cast and directed by Miss Henderson of the high school faculty facul-ty and will be ready within the next few weeks. Miss Briggs made her home here for five years having been in Rochester for the past two years. They will make their home in Rochester. Mr. and Mrs. Len Duncan of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. William Duncan of this city attended the funeral services of Elisha Duncan in Springville Sunday afternoon. Mr. Duncan is a brother of William Duncan Dun-can of this city. W. D. Stewart returned to American Amer-ican Fork last night after serving a three weeks term on the grand jury in Salt Lake City. At Tooele they visited with Mrs. Nate Anderson. Miss Myrl Chipman of Salt Lake City visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Chipman.
