Show Tuesday guests at the home of Mrs. Lawrence Hutchings were her sisters, Mrs. David Peterson and Mrs. Steve Willes of Lehi. Miss Irene Binns left Tuesday foi Salt Lake City to enroll in the School of Nursing at the Dr. Groves' L. D. S. hospital. Miss Berniece Miller left yesterday for Millard county where she will teach school during the coming winter. Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Strong and family of Magna, were visitors the forepart of the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo T. Shelley. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Holmstead attended the Holmstead family re-i re-i union held at Saratoga Saturday mere were seventy-two taniily members mem-bers at the gathering. In honor of her birthday Tuesday, relatives and friends of Miss Golda Cunningham gathered at her home and had a very enjoyable evening of social chat. Refreshments were served serv-ed to eighteen. Mr. and Mrs. Wan-en Anderson and son, Harold, and Miss Edith Thornton left yesterday for San Francisco to visit with Mrs. Anderson's Ander-son's sister, Mrs. Frank Greenwood and family. They expect to be gone about two weeks. The Nautilus social unit of the' B. Y. TJ. gave their annual garden party in honor of the N. L. TJ. club members mem-bers and guests Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. J. Will Knight of Provo. In the receiving line were-Mrs. were-Mrs. Knight, Miss Ellen Binns Mrs Helen Dixon, Miss Shirley Redd and Miss Jean Summers. The guests were received in the house, and later went into the garden where tliev were served at small tables centered with bowls of nasturtiums. As favors they were presented with tiny cor ' sbbep of pink rose-buds and baby breath. After the luncheon, progressive pro-gressive Fan Tun wus played.
