V- w .... , . - ( , r i Pleasant Grove Police have been busy during the last couple of weeks investigating a large number num-ber of high damage accidents in Pleasant Grove and Lindon. One man sustained minor injuries inju-ries to his head, knee and jaw on Dec. 28 when his car was involved in an accident at 300 E. State Road in Pleasant Grove. Robert Christensen, Pleasant Grove, was taken to American Fork Hospital by Pleasant Grove Ambulance Ambu-lance where he was treated for his injuries and released. The other car involved was driven by David L. Judd, Jr., of Lindon. The cars collided in the intersection. Damage to the Christensen car was set at $4,000 and there was $3,000 damage to the Judd auto. Another accident occurred on Dec. 29 at the intersection of 300 E. and 200 South when cars driven by Charles E. Pearce and Ryan F. Levin, both of Pleasant Grove, collided col-lided in the intersection. There were no injuries. Damage to the Pearce auto was set at $3,500. The amount of damage to the Levin car was not listed. On Dec. 28, an accidentoccurred at the intersection of 200 S. and 100 East, involving three vehicles. According to Officer Jay Thornton, a car driven by Amy M. Lamoreaux, Lindon, was traveling north on 100 East. A car driven by Theodore Livingston, Pleasant Grove, attempted a left turn in front of the Lamoreaux car and they collided sending the Lamoreaux Lam-oreaux vehicle into one driven by Clive Beck, Pleasant Grove, which was waiting at the intersection. There were no injuries. Damage to the Lamoreaux car was set at $2,000, there was $1,500 damage to the Livingston car, and $50 damage to the Beck auto. On Dec. 27, a car driven by This mangled truck lost its axle in an accident last week on State Road and 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Jennifer Williams, Pleasant Grove, was traveling westbound on 100 North when a vehicle driven by Robert W. Kirk, Lindon, pulled from a driveway onto the roadway at 929 E. 100 North. The Williams auto attempted to stop but could not because of the slick road, according to Officer Jeff Wilson. There were no injuries. Damage to the Williams car was listed at $1,000 and there was $500 damage to the Kirk auto. An accident at 200 E. Center in Lindon resulted in damage to cars driven by Jill L. Adams, Orem, and Shirley Mathews, Lindon. The Adams car sustained $1,500 damage and there was $100 damage to the Mathews car. There were no injuries. Another accident occurred at 200 S. 100 East on Dec. 24. Cars driven by Tom Carter, Pleasant Grove, and Rashell Kelly, Lindon collided in the intersection. Damage to the Carter auto was listed at $1,000 and there was $3,000 damage to the Kelly vehicle. There were no injuries, according accord-ing to Officer Jiliu Lloyd. A one car accident occurred on Dec. 24 at 1100 N. 600 West when Valerie P. Wilson, Pleasant Grove, attempted to slow her car while another vehicle in front of her m ade a left turn. Her car slid on the slick road and went off the road and hit a utility pole. There was $2,000 damage to her car, according to Officer Randy Shepherd. No one was injured on Dec. 23 when cars driven by Patrick L. Snedecor, American Fork, and Steve J. Parkinson, Heber, collided L.t 120 ?.;;ia1. There was $1,000 damage to each car. |
