Show obituaries Theron M. Webster Rintha O. Nelson TP''- " , j Rintha Oldfield Nelson, 93, of Pleasant Grove, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1988, at the American Fork Hospital of pneumonia. She was born June 3, 1894 in Pleasant Grove to Malcolm and Caroline White Oldfield. She married Melvin F. Nelson Nov. 19, 1912 in Pleasant Grove. He died Sept. 9, 1968. She was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Grove and attended schools there. She was a member of Congregation of Elmo Nelson, Pleasant Grove; Velma Jones and Mrs. Ferrin (Velda) Bennett, both of American Fork; Nola Johnson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Carl (Beth) Stephens, Ogden; 23 grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; grand-children; a half brother, Sherwood West, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 15, in the Olpin Family Mortuary. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Jehovah's Witnesses. She was an avid flower gardener. She is survived by a son and four daughters: Theron M. He married Lillian Hennings in the Logan LDS Temple on Nov. 4, 1927. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. , He was educated in itIdaho and attended the lfjOneida Academy. 1 He served a mission lSfor the LDS Church in vd he Great Lakes fission (Minnesota) irom 1924 to 1926, where ithe met his wife. He and Lillian served a mission .n the Louisville, Kentucky Mission from 974-75. Webster, St. George; Blain M. Webster, Preston, Ida.; Uarda M. Merrill, Blackfoot, Ida.; Donna M. Webster, Preston, Ida. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, and a son, Dale. He is best remembered remem-bered by his family and friends for his ability to give, whether in service or monetary means and having a heart as big as all outdoors, which he loved so well. Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 29th Ward, 600 S. 100 West (boat harbor road), where friends may call one hour prior to services. She was born May 9, 1885 in Lehi, a daughter of George and Mary Ann Ware Webb. She married John Lenard Francom June 6, 1913 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Feb. 5, 1951. She attended schools in Lehi and Brigham Young Academy. She also studied at the University of Utah and Idaho State University. She was the oldest living alumnus of BYU. She taught school in Idaho and Lehi. She had a beautiful singing voice and was very active in musical singing groups. She organized singing groups wherever she lived. She lived in Levan most of her married life and was active in the LDS Church. She served as MIA president, Relief Society president, musical director, and in numerous other positions. She was active in Daughters of Utah pioneers and organized Chicken Creek Camp. She was active in PTA and other community organizations. She served three LDS missions, in the Southern States, Lehi Stake and Juab Stake. She is survived by lour children: Paul W. Francom, Salt Lake City; Martha F. Brotherson, Layton; Phyllis F. Christensen, Nephi; and J. Alan Francom, Antioch, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; grand-children; 64 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren. grand-children. She was preceded in death by a daughter, F. Tolley, and one grandchild. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 14, in the Levan LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Levan Cemetery. Stella G. Day Stella Marguerite Greene Day, 86, died January 1, 1988, at her home in Salt Lake City. She was born Oct. 28, 1901, in American Fork, a daughter of John B. and Annie Proctor Greene. She married Victor Day on Jan. 2, 1936, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on May 16, 1978. She retired in 1982 from the Crawford & Day Furniture Company Com-pany after 35 years of employment. She was active in the Salt Lake Country Club and was a member of the LDS Church. She was an accomplished pianist and music teacher. She is survived by a son, Victor L. (and his wife, Sheridan) Day, Sandy; a daughter, Sheridan W. Day offered of-fered the invocation. Speakers included Ronald C. Parker, who !gave a family history, and Arthur J. Swindle. Musical numbers included in-cluded a song by her great-grandchildren, "Families Can be Together Forever," accompanied by Cynthia Cyn-thia R. Parker, and a solo, "Somewhere My Love," by Dee Anne Warner, accompanied by Edna Hamilton. Richard Wright dedicated the grave at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Stephen V. Day, Richard L. Day, Keith Cook, George P. Miller, Dale L. Parker and Ronald C. Parker. Honorary pallbearers were Michael B. Day, Matthew R. Parker and Joshua J. Parker. Anna B. Parker, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; grand-children; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Florence G. Dunyon, American Fork. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 5, in the Larkin Mortuary in Salt Lake City. Dale L. Parker offered of-fered the family prayer. Edna Hamilton performed per-formed the prelude and postlude music.
