Show Sandra Greenwood, Nov. AFH Employee of Month 1 Known among patients and coworkers co-workers alike for "going beyond the extra mile" in her nursing service. Sandra Greenwood is being honored as November Employee of the Month at American Fork Hospital. "Sandy has to be one of the most dedicated nurses this hospital has." says one co-worker. "Her concern and care for her patients is outstanding. out-standing. ..and she is always so pleasant." Currently working as an LP. in the hospital's women's center. Greenwood has been with AFH since 1984. Before serving in the women's center, she worked on the medical floor and in the behavioral health unit. Greenwood is very positive about her nursing career. "I enjoy my nursing profession with its challenges and opportunities for giving of service and care," she says. "My co-workers are some of the best in their fields." Born and raised near Payson, Greenwood then attended Utah State University for two years, and earned her LPN degree from Utah Sandra (ireenwood Technical College. She is currently working towards an additional nursing degree. Greenwood and her husband, Steve, have three daughters. In addition to enjoying spending time with her family, she loves music, reading and taking long walks. Actively involved in charitable work. Greenwood served as past March of Dimes chairman. Also, she has served in many auxiliaries in her LDS ward. |
