Sessions are under the direction of Phylis Hansen, MA Social Work, who is trained in bereavement counseling. "If the loss is dealt with inap-propriately, the survivor may suffer emotional pain for years to come " said Steineckert. "When death is handled appropriately, family members and friends can gain a perspective and an understanding of the loss, along with a sense of acceptance." The Happy Hour will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with dinner being served from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dancing will be from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will be no charge to all members and guests. This dinner-danc- e is made possible by the 1986 officers. Dinner will be roast turkey by Nan Neilson and Glenda Crosby. "Rented Christmas" will' be the December production. For this they need four women and four men and five young people from ages six through 17 years. They will also need a group of young people to serve as carolers only. Those interested may audition for either production on Wednesday or Saturday. EDISON TWINS HONEYMOONERS Choral Society concerts begin next week The Utah Valley Choral Society will begin its 1986-8- 7 concert season Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the Provo Tabernacle. The season will consist of six concerts, offering a variety of fine choral music to appeal to all listeners. Among the featured presentations will be Brahms' German Requiem, a salute to Broadway, a Christmas concert, a tribute to American music, and the fourth annual 1 "Messiah" Sing-i- The Choral Society is an organization of local singers dedicated to musical excellence and the performance of the highest quality of choral music. Their director is Lois Johnson, well-know- n conductor, soloist, and voice teacher. Christine Ivins opened Ivins Act II at 13 East Main five years ago. Norma recalled she first opened House of Ivins where Ivins Act II is in the building that had housed B"ggs Pharmacy. . The store moved to its present j 'Nation in the Shopping Center five rs ago when they needed more wto expand the business to meet "Md of their customers. rma says she caters to the ses customer, carrying sizes six in all occasion dresses, sport-bkw- l coordinates, lingerie, s, sweaters and the now Wlar active wear, as well as f ivories. " r Basically the same employees are with her as when she started ten years ago, she says. Sales at both House of Ivins and Ivins Act II are "true sales," their owners say, "not promotional" with all seasonal merchandise cleared each year. Christine opened Ivins Act II five years ago - in 1981 - at 13 East Main, and has styles for the younger set, in Junior sizes three through 13. She not only has "dressy dresses" for dances, but also has brand name coordinates in sportswear and ac-tive wear, with accessories to go with them. Among the known-brand- s found at Ivins Act II are Esprit and Tomboy. Christine says she loves being located downtown on Main Street. "There are so many nice people who drop in, many of them business women on their lunch hour or after work." . She says she and Norma (who is her ' mother-in-law- ) usually go to market together, and try to do their sales at the same time. "It makes it real nice and we enjoy each other's company," Christine says.
