Show Obituaries Malcolm K. Christiansen PLEASANT GROVE-Malcolm GROVE-Malcolm Karl Christiansen, 66, lifetime resident of Pleasant Grove, died at khe American Fork Hospital on Sunday, August 29, 1982. ' He was born in Pleasant Grove November 7, 1915 to Alma Gideon and Ida Matilda Anderson Christiansen. He attended at-tended Pleasant Grove fly schools, graduating Mm Pleasant Grove fcgh School in 1933. He was a sergeant in lie Air Force through hid War II, serving is an instructor in the fadover Air Force fee Gunnery School. He married Ida Mae Rasmussen on January , 1948 in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. He retired i from Rasmussen tating Company as a Meyman sheet metal 'orker. He was a 25-W 25-W member of the tat Metal Workers national Associat-iiJ-vb ......... ion. He held the office of High Priest in the LDS Church and served in various capacities in the church during his lifetime, mostly as High Priest group secretary in the Pleasant Grove Sixth Ward. Survivors include his wife of Pleasant Grove; three sons and two daughters, "' Steven K. Christiansen, American Fork; Karl A. Christiansen, Highland; Mrs. Leland (Janene) Yates, Brigham City; Mrs. Jeff (Kathy) Johnson, Price; James C. Christiansen, Logan; 15 grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Rhodin A. Christiansen and Mrs. Reed (Mildred) Walker, both of Pleasant Grove. The funeral was held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove Sixth-Tenth Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. |
