Show Thursday, April 1, 1982 Notice To Contractors STATE OF UTAH COUNTY Sealed proposals will be received by the American Fork City Office at 31 North Church Street until 4:00 o'clock p.m. April 13th, 1982 and at that time publicly opened for construction of Bit Plant Mix Paved roadway in American Fork City, Utah County, Collector Road Project No. 135 (3). The project is to be completed in 25 working days. Prequalification of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder's receiving plans and specifications, it will be necessary that the bidder have on file with the State Road Com- - mission of Utah com-pleted and approved, the required Prequalification Stat-ement pertaining to contractor's experience and financial condition. The attention of bidders is directed to Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning the contract. In conformity with and by authority of Title 34, Chapter 30. Utah Code Annotated 1953, the general prevailing rates as determined by the Industrial Com-mission of Utah shall be effective..and apply, to j this project, and are the minimum wages to be paid on this project. These rates are made a part of the contract documents. The attention of bidders is directed to I the fact that contractors ; engaged in highway construction work are required to met the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938(52 Stat. 1060). American Fork City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252), hereby notifies all bidders that it will af-firmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color or national origin.
