Show Barbershop Quartet To Perform The barbershoppers are preparing another great presentation of plain barbershop harmony to be presented March 27 and 28 at Provo High School Auditorium. The show begins at 8 p.m. Besides the Utah ValLey Skyline Chorus singing under the direction of Gerald Maxfield, the show features the WASATCH FRONT, a Sweet adelines quartet, the PROVOKERS quartet which has ' entertained barbershop fans for several years, and the ' KNUDSEN BROTHE- RS BARBERSHOP QUARTET. The Knudsen Brothers recently placed third out of 24 competing quartets at the Rocky Mountain District Convention and Contest in Denver and plan to compete in Idaho Falls next month at the International In-ternational Quartet Preliminary Contest. They have lived in Orem for the past five years. The headliner quartet quar-tet is THE BOOTLEGGERS BOOT-LEGGERS from Craig, Colorado. They are a funny and very jntertaining quartet and have been creating laughter and enjoyment among barbershop fans for years. TheMC, Jack Smith is a contest judge in the Arrangement Category. Enjoy a night of fun and singing in the barbershop style Friday or Saturday at Provo H'gh School Auditorium. Tickets are on sale at the door. |
