Show BYU Lists Local Graduates Students from, this area were among the record 1,286 graduates who received diplomas in December from BYU. These graduates represented 46 states and 24 foreign countries. The number is a 12.8 percent increase over December, 1980. Fifty-nine percent are men and 41 percent are women. Among the graduates were 77 doctoral degree recipient (a new high for December), Decem-ber), 197 masters degrees, 907 bachelors degrees, and 105 associate ( two-year ) degrees. Degree recipients have been invited to attend the 107th Commencement exercises next April since no formal services are held in December. Receiving degrees from this area are : From Alpine, Leisa Ann Hoggan, Associate; Diane Holley, Lance Craig McKinney and Nancy E. Vallett, all bachelors degrees. From American Fork, George Oliver Cornish, associate; Dean Von Memmott, bachelor; Ella Holevin Soelberg, bachelor; Thomas G. Stillman, bachelor; Dodi W. Westwood, associate. From Lehi, David Lee Allred and Gary C. Laney, both bachelors degrees. From Lindon, Grant Da vies Atkinson, masters; Deborah Fugal, associate. From Pleasant Grove, all receiving bachelors degrees, were: Ronald Gene Brown, Steven James Burns, Alan S. Christensen, Linda Moser C. Freeman, Nancy Gray and Loren B. Morton. |
