Show Funeral Rites Set Friday for Myrla W. Elm Funeral services are set Friday, March 12, 1976 for Myrla Williams Elm, 35, who died Monday, March 8 in the Ulah Valley Hospital of cardiac arrest. The services will be held at 11 a.m. in the Rivergrove LDS Ward Chapel, 8th North and 7th West. Friends may call at the Olpin Family Mortuary in Pleasant Grove Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the Ward Chapel Friday, prior to the services. Myrla Williams Elm was born June 19, 1940 in American Fork, Utah to Elbert McKell and Avera Smith Williams. She married Bruce Hyde Elm July 5, 1962 in the Manti LDS Temple. She graduated from the BYU in 1962 with honors, and taught 2nd grade at Timpanogos Elementary School in Provo from 1962 to 1971. She was active in the LDS Church and served in presidencies of the Primary and YWMIA. Also she taught classes in Sunday School, Primary and YWMIA. Survivors include her husband and three daughters, LaDawn, Christine and Renee, all of Provo; parents, now returning from an LDS Mission to their home in Pleasant Grove; 3 brothers, Kent, Long Beach, Calif.; Robert M. and Mark E. both of Pleasant Grove. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. |
