Show Fast Break League Has Packs Leading Team After 6 games Packs have a perfect 6 and 0 record with seven players who are former PGHS basketball players on their team, with 6 of the 7 playing together through high school. Dougs TV is made up of former high school players from P.G., A.F., and Lehi. Their only 2 loses are at the hands of Packs. Carolyn's is lead by former Provo High players Jerry Sorenson and Martell Muhlstein. Mortell hasn't played the last two games due to knee problems, so Sorenson has had to carry the team. Schoonovers has 3 former Pleasant Grove High players. They started slow, but have been improving each game. Southam-Warburton is lead by high school sophomore and Freshman basketball coach Tyler Smith and are coached bv former Tabiona High Coach Kent Tingey. They played two of the most exciting games of the year, losing to Carolyn's 50-44 50-44 in an overtime and winning this last week on a last second shot by Smith. S & S Enterprises lay claim to the league's leading scorer, former P.G. High player Lee Atwood. He is averaging 19 points per game. Also helping the team is Dave Holdaway Dave and Lee didn't play the first game of the season, but have played the other 5 games. Everyone is invited to come out and see the fast break basketball games. They are played at the high school any Tuesday night beginning at 6:30 and running until about 10. There is always plenty of excitement ex-citement and always a good time by all players and fans.
