Show Swimmers Beat Am. Fork Last Thursday Determination to remain undefeated and age old rivalry were the two motivating forces behind the Pleasant Grove Swim Team as they easily pulled off another victory Thursday at the local pool. Even with scoring methods changed this year, our swimmers have out-scored their opponents. In past years teams with many swimmers could often rack up enough points on 2nd and 3rd places to outscore the other teams firsts. First place was given 6 points, 2nd 4 points and 3rd 3 points. However the Utah Valley Board (comprised of an elected member from each community entered in the league) changed the scoring method to 5 points for 1st, 3 points for 2nd and 1 point for third. The victory came therefore because of our many first place winners with a final score of P.G. 392 and A.F. 161. Individual In-dividual first place swimmers (excluding relays) were: Freestyle K.
