Show Valley View to Hold Science Fair, Other Events Valley View Klomentary School will hold i sixth grade science lair, hobby display, lourlli grade singing presen-lation, presen-lation, musical selections by the kindergarten classes, and l'TA elections March 27 at p.m. at the school PTA president LouAnn Gelock announced today. The science lair will feature exhibits of projects which have been made by sixth grade students. Students will demonstrate their projects. Hobby displays from the other grades will also be exhibited. Elections will be held during the evening for the vice presdiential position. Candidates Can-didates are Mrs. Paul (Linda) Giles and Mrs. li. Brent (Linda) Bullough. President for next year will be Mrs. George G. (Becky) Smith Jr. This years secretary treasurer, Mrs. Smith, will assume the role of PTA president due to the resignation earlier this year of Carol Harmer, president. Vice president Mrs. Jerry LouAn) Gelock, has served the remainder of the school year as president. Mrs. Gelock extends an invitation in-vitation to all PTA members to attend the science fair and participate in the elections. Ketresnments will be served. Music for the occasion will be furnished by kindergarten children of both classes. T he flag ceremony will be under the direction of Troop 167. Mrs. Johnson's fourth grade students will also present a musicka program. The PTA will present gift to the class with the most parents in attendance, Mrs. Gelock explained. Mrs. Giles is the mother of two girls and one boy and has been a room mother. Mr. Giles is a counselor at the Utah State Prison and attends Weber State College. Mrs. Bullough enjoys all kinds of arts and crafts. She is the mother of three boys and three girls. She has worked as a teachers aid and her busband is a businessman. The new PTA president, Mrs. Smith has four children, two boys and two girls. Her husband is a journeyman iron worker. . NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Pleasant Grove City Board of Adjustments will meet Wednesday, April 2, 1975 at-7:00 p.m. to review the request of Wayne Martell for a side yard variance for their vacant lot located at approximately 205 East 300 South. Mr. Martell is desirous of constructing a home on this lot but because of the narrowness of the lot and the location of the existing home on the west it will be necessary to obtain a variance to the side yard requirements and distance between buildings.
