Mr, and Mrs. Ronald Robertson and sons, Keith and Rodney, of Los Angeles; and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and daughter, Betty, of Salt Lake were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Walker on Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. P. II. Peterson of Spanish Fork, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Fletcher of San Francisco were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Milner on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Walker, and Mr. and Mrs. Don 1th were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Trowbridge on Monday evening. Miss Laura Marshall of Salt Lake was a guest at the teacher's dormatory over the week-end. Misses Margaret and Vera IIop-kiiiHon IIop-kiiiHon are guests of their sister, Miss Jaue Hopkins of Salt IiUke, this week. A venison dinner was enjoyed bv a number of friends of Tony Bennett at Highland Roy last Friday. Mr. Bennett was a fortunate for-tunate hunter who got a deer. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meade entertained en-tertained at dinner Saturday evening ev-ening at their home. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. M. Van Sweeten Sweet-en and children, Lois and Kd-ward, Kd-ward, of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Helen Rhodes of Reno, Nevada. Mrs. Janibelle Sullivan entertained enter-tained for the U. 0. I. O. club at her home Thursday evening. Members attending were: Mrs, James Denver, Mrs. Geo. P. Johnson, John-son, Mrs. Mart Jensen, Mrs. Miles McDonald, Mrs. Robert Bird, Mrs. Max Du Bois, Mrs. Mry Yates, Mrs. A. O. Mugtur, Mrs. , W. K. Scot, Mrs. Charles Clinton, and Mrs. Tom Yates. Five hundred hun-dred was enjoyed and prize winners win-ners were Mrs. Denver 1st, Mrs. Jensen 2nd, Mrs. Bird 3rd, and Mrs. Du Bois consolation. The color col-or scheme of the decorations and luncheon were carried out in Halloween colors. Mrs. Gerald Reynolds entertained enter-tained at a luncheon party at her home Wednesday afternoon. Covers Cov-ers were laid for Mrs. L. E, Milner, Mil-ner, Mrs. Jesse Prigmore, Mrs. Alfred Al-fred Goff, Mrs. Harry McGee, Mrs. Carl Nichols, Mrs. L. Snow, and Mrs. A. Carpenter. Mrs. A. A. Tibby was hosiers to a number of her friends from Salt Lake at a buffet luncheon Friday afternoon. The guests were Mrs. Ham Day of Johannesburg, Johannes-burg, South Africa and Mrs. -Fred I la to Jr , .Mrs George Critehlow, Mrs. C C. Bintz, Mrs. Ross Brown, Mrs. Howard Curt ley and Miss Kate Groo, all of Salt Lake. The Democratic women of the State of Utah will hold a reception recep-tion and tea in honor of Mrs. Win. II. King, Saturday, November Novem-ber 1st, from two until five o'clock, at the home of Governor and .Mrs. Dcrn. Xo invitations will be sent, but all friends of Mrs. King .and all Democratic women are cordially invited to call. |
