Show Daughters j of Utah Pioneers Meet At Wright Home A very interesting and enjoyable enjoy-able program was carried out last Thursday afternoon by the Daughters Daugh-ters of the Utah Pioneers, at the home of Mrs. Oral Wright. The program centered around Mrs. Wright's grandfather, the late Jos. W. Halliday and was as fol- 1U wo . Ladies trio, Mrs. Ethel W. Carlson, Carl-son, Mrs. Cleone Kirk, and Mrs. Mary Neves, sang, "Sing Me The Old Songs' Tonight;" Prayer was offered by Mrs. Eva T. Fage; Shanos O' Brian by the audience; Piano solo by Jack Wadley, a grand-son of Mr. Halliday; Life history of Mr. Halliday, written by a grand-son Robert Snow Halliday Hall-iday and read by a grand-daughter Opal W. Adamson. Remarks were made and incidents inci-dents told by Mrs- Cleone Kirk, Mrs. Opal Adamson, Mrs. Eu Fage, Mrs. Mary Neves, Mrs. Mary S. Fage, Mrs. Lucile Walker. Mrs. Pearl West, Mrs. Oral Wright and Mrs. Pearl H. Wadley and Mrs. Merle H. Coombs daughters of Mr. Halliday. Two flute solos were played by Miss Elaine Adamson, a great grand-daughter. She was accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Naomi Halliday Shaw. |
