Show Kiwanis Club Has LeRoy Olsen as Speaker Saturday Pleasant Grove Kiwanis Club members and their companions com-panions held a dinner meeting at the Galerie Reception Center Cen-ter in American Fork Saturday evening. President Harvey Rawlinson called the meeting to order and Boyd Fugal presented pre-sented the flag. Malin Smith offered of-fered the prayer. Harold Jacklin led group singing and Don Rawlinson, the new secretary, presented door prizes, won by Venice Fugal and Louis Gardner. The meeting was conducted by Homer Robertson, who introduced in-troduced Deloss Fotheringham and his wife, guests at the meeting. William Petersen sang and was accompanied by Rosalie Ros-alie Jacklin. Mr. Petersen also introduced LeRoy Olsen, who was a past International Trustee of Kiwanis. Kiwan-is. He was the speaker for the evening, and highly praised the activity of this club, especially with the youth, and assistance of the members at the training school. He also said the Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho district was one of the finest. President Rawlinson paid tribute tri-bute to the past presidents of the Club, William Petersen, Merrill Warnick, Elvin Carson, Walter Brock, Cornell Haynie, Kenneth Harvey. |
