Also surviving are his grandparents, Mr .and Mrs. Merrill Fowles, Pleasant Grove Funeral Services Held Monday for Elder Randy Pugh Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 7, for Elder Randy Jon Pugh, who was killed kill-ed in an automobile accident last Thursday in San Pedro, Mexico while serving an LDS mission for the church. Elder Pugh was due to be released from his mission call in March of next year. The services were held in the Pleasant Grove Third-Sixth Ward Chapel under the direction direc-tion of Bishop Glade Hilton of the Third Ward. Speakes at the services were Bishop Robert C. Burgi, President Presi-dent Arturo Martinez and Elder David B. Haight, Assistant to the Twelve. A life sketch was given by Lynn Bellows. Vocal solos were sung by Nancy Ekins, accompanied by Catherine Rees, and prelude and postlude music was played by Ellen Monson. Family prayer was given by Joseph (Bud) Davis, and the opening prayer by Eldon Davis. Closing prayer was pronounced by Lincoln Pugh. The grave was dedicated in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery Ceme-tery by Cecil Pugh. Pallbearers were Kenneth Chynoweth, Scott Craig, Bruce Moore, Rocky Davis, Bruce Judd and Randy Miller. Honorary Hon-orary pallbearers were Dennis L. Davis and Alton Pugh. Flowers were cared for and arranged by the Third Ward Relief Society . Elder Pugh was born Dec. 25, 1950, the son of Rollace A. and Delora Davis Pugh of PI. Grove, He was a graduate of the Crem High School and had attended Brigham Young University Uni-versity prior to his mission call. He also had lived in northern nor-thern and southern California, Seattle, Virginia Beach, Va., and Cherry Hill, N.J.
