The Story Pharmacy was boken into in-to and narcotic drugs taken last Monday morning between the hours of 2 and 3 a.m. It was Monday morning, one week ago, that his store was entered forcibly at about the same time and a quantity of drugs taken. The February- 23 entry was made by breaking the upper glass panel of the pharmacy south door, which opens on to the Medical Center patio. In the burglary of the week previous an estimated $300.00 worth of drugs were taken. This time, I lost only about $100.00 worth," Mr. Story said. I didn't have so much on hand, he added. Also last Monday morning at aproximately the same time and by the same operators, the dental office of Dr. Max Blackham was entered by breaking glass doors. Police reported that about 50 one-shot syringes and a bottle of painkiller pain-killer was taken. The Pleasant Grove Police Department reported that two young men were arrested for the Feb. 16 burglary of the Story Pharmacy and are now in the Utah County Jail. Their names were given as Terry Moore, 20, of Lindon and Charles Ellis, 18, of Provo, awaiting raising of bail. These arrests were made through the cooperation of BYU Security, Orem Police Department Depart-ment and Pleasant Grove Police Po-lice Department. Police Chief Mike Ferre reported re-ported that during the first week of February four home burglaries were cleared up in Pleasant Grove. As to the February 23 burglaries, burg-laries, at Story Pharmacy and Dr. .Blackham's office, Chief Ferre said that investigations are continuing, but only a few leads had been uncovered as of last Tuesday morning. |
