Show PTA Workshop Planned for A.F. High Tonight All principals and PTA Council Coun-cil and local PTA chairmen of American Fork, PI. Grove, Lin-don Lin-don and Orem areas are urged to be at the American Fork High School tonight, Aug. 8, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for a PTA Workshop. The meeting will be conducted conduct-ed by Mrs. Ann Wiliams of the American Fork Council. The program will include a musical selection by William Petersen, a demonstration on procedure books by Mrs. Alene Rowley, Orem PTA Council president; a speaker from the State PTA; a poen, "A Happening" given by Mrs. George Smith, PI. Grove PTA Council president. Quinn Hatch, assistant superintendent super-intendent of Alpine School District Dis-trict will speak, and Mrs. Relva McGarry, Region II PTA director, direc-tor, will also give remarks. Following the general assembly, assem-bly, the meeting wlil break into in-to town groups, for introduction introduc-tion of council members and a discussion. The balance of the evening will be spent in individual indivi-dual workshops for each department. de-partment. Light refreshments will be served under the direction of Mrs. Talmage Thomson, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove council, Mrs. Peggy Benson, Orem Council and Mrs. Ted Barrett, American Fork Council. |
